Created in 1999 in Clarksburg WV- Mountaineer Paranormal is a team of dedicated people  who wish to learn and study about paranormal or spirit activity. We have had countless experiences over the years and thirsting for more to add to our lives as we travel across WV and other states. Mainly our investigating is at the WV Pen as I mentioned..but we also go to other locations  that alledge paranormal activity to observe and obtain evidence
APRIL 2 - 2011 begins the next season of ghost hunts at the WV Pen.. we'll see you there .

We also have a long term outdoor investigation in progress for as long as we need to be there- and this is what we need more of- people willing to allow us all the time we need to study paranormal activity..we thank the Golden family from Clarksburg WV for allowing us access to one of the most historical sites in the state - the Harry Powers Murder Farm -- Harry Powers was a convicted serial killer from the 1931 era of Clarksburg..he met his end on March 18 1932 -he was executed by hanging at the WV Penitentiary for the slayings of 2 women and 3 children.
the Golden family graciously accepted us to be on the property as we need to be- much learning and evidence can be collected for study. Several "ghost box " radio sessions have brought out some fantastic EVP for evidence...as soon as weather permits- we return to the murder farm for more investigating.

Also- if you haven't heard- our " Shadow Man" photo just made the newest episode of Paranormal State - " Darkness Falls" 2009 outstanding episode Chad and Ryan!!
